Job Description:
Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to plan, co-ordinate and implement learning and development programmes in line with the CHEP SSA Talent and Learning and Development strategy.
Key Accountabilities
Statutory Compliance / BBBEE
- Responsible for reporting, analysis and submission of the Workplace Skills Plan and the Annual Training Report for relevant
SETA - Assist with the compilation of EE and BBBEE info for Skills Development
- Facilitate the implementation and tracking of all related Skills Development legislative requirements. This includes (but is not limited to) Skills Development Plans, Annual Training Reports, Learnerships.
- Support and facilitate BBBEE Skills Development initiatives
SETA
- Manage L&D processes to facilitate the various legislative audits
- Facilitate the implementation and tracking of Brambles learning and compliance initiatives
- Facilitate the implementation of the company's learning and development plan in order to ensure that employee competence is optimised. This by identifying development needs from employees' Career Development Plans and translating needs into initiatives that will groom employees for the next step of their career path
- Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
- Responsible to compile and update training material relevant to CHEP SSA Field HR
- Source external accredited service providers and shortlist for review by Field HR Manager
- To facilitate relevant required training programmes as and when needed by the business
- Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes.
- Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development.
- Update training manuals, source new online learning modules, and course materials.
- Deliver training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques.
- Monitor and evaluate L&D programs to ensure they are current and effective
- Responsible for facilitation and implementation of HR Corporate Induction Programme by ensuring effective acclimatising of new hires to the business. This includes content review and updates, as well as travel/catering logistics around the 2 day session
- Ensure successful closing of Induction Programme through employee feedback and evaluations
- Coordinate and ensure full endtoend process for bursaries and internal study assistance programmes. This includes communications to business, facilitating approvals and payments, and closing off with results and payback processes.
- Compile and track monthly training reports to ensure an up to date, complete database on all CHEP development for employees
- Liaise with employees on all training related queries.
- Oversee and coordinate the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
- Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring costs, scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating enrolment.
- Degree
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a talent and learning role.
Bachelors - Business Education
Preferred Level of Work Experience
- 5 yearsHybrid Remote
