QUALITY CONTROLLER INSPECTOR
Location:
SAVC WESTMEAD, KwaZulu-Natal
SAVC Uitenhage, Eastern Cape
SAVC Olifantsfontein, Gauteng
Summary:
SA Van Conversions is looking for a Quality Controller Inspector who will be responsible for making sure that all non-conformances are identified and rectified so that vehicles meet a set of standards by passing each checklist stage.
- Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Performs inspections on raw materials
- Generation of quality control documentation
- Inspecting output samples using industryappropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality
- Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to the checklist
- Compliance with relevant legal and statutory requirements
- Measuring and testing equipment is checked to comply with specifications
- Production process is monitored daily
- Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing reworks and wastes and inputting data into quality database
- Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence
- Determining the causes of product defects and reworks
- Proposing improvements to the production process
