    Special Department Order Processing Professional

    Job Summary:

    Medipost Pharmacy is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join the Special department in Order Processing. The successful candidate will be based in Gezina, Pretoria.

    Key Responsibilities:

    We are looking for an individual who can provide proper patient care in accordance with Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) regulations. Key responsibilities include:

    • Attending training on pharmacy acts and GPP
    • Compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI) regulations
    • Accurate capturing of prescriptions, acute and/or chronic medication
    • Handling clinical discussions and/or inquiries with patients and healthcare professionals or Sales Promoters (SPNs)
    • Resolve rejections and prioritize adding scripts to WIP
    • Attending to cluster and personal action diaries
    • Compliance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements
    • Stock management – understanding cold chain processes, expiry dates, stock returns

    Operational Requirements:

    The ideal candidate must be able to:

    • Complete daily allocated work according to SLA requirements
    • Queries appropriately followed up until finalized
    • Telephonic interaction with patients and other healthcare professionals where needed
    • Competency in Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) assessments

    Qualifications and Experience:

    To be considered for this role, you must have:

    • Grade 12 qualification
    • Licensing and Accreditation from the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)

    Training and Development:

    Able to undergo training on Medipost APP system, SLA training, company policies and procedures, computer literacy, and company systems such as MHRS online authorization system and Employee Self-Service (ESS).

    Competencies and Skills:

    The successful candidate must possess:

    • Verbal and written communication skills, listening skills, patience, empathy, conflict resolution skills, customer service orientation, accuracy, data capturing skills, interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
    • Time management, ability to handle pressure, deadline-orientated, neatness, initiative, confidentiality, and versatility to perform any departmental duty if required

    Additional Requirements:

    We require the successful candidate to be willing to work overtime when required by management, attend product training for continued professional development, and assist with email inquiries relating to stock issues, financial inquiries, and claim inquiries.
