(R per day / 3 days per week)

We are seeking a Project Manager : Social Mobilisation & Community Empowerment for a 6 month part time role (3 days a week) based in Mthatha, Eastern Cape.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Diploma in Development Studies / Arts / Commerce
***:
-
10+ years working exp of which 3 years must be in a community related field, sales and marketing, or stakeholder management
***:

Experience in engaging communities, facilitating social benefit or community projects will be an added advantage

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:***-
Community based project profiling and community empowerment related to land claims
***:
-
Championing of sustainable community partnership models
***:
-
Advice on community dynamics
***:
-
Prepare communities for development initiatives
***:
-
Unlocking development where projects were derailed
***:
-
Provide interface between communities through chiefs and leaders
***:
-
Prepare and profile community-based projects for government assistance
***:
-
Identify communities that can qualify as partners
***:
-
Facilitate for feasibility studies / identify and pursue potential co-funders
***:
-
Formulate expression of interest and call for private sector investments
***:
-
Facilitate the holding of land summits

Salary: Daily rate of R per day / 3 days per week
