    We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to manage and execute our client acquisition strategy, from pipeline generation to developing existing client relationships, driving top-line revenue growth, and overall end customer adoption.

    The Sales Manager is responsible for pursuing new prospects with Verto's value proposition and converting prospects into a sustainable transacting client base.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Determine needs, build value, create engagement, and acceptance of Verto's solutions with new clients.
    • Prospect, identify, and generate new opportunities via cold calling, email, phone, LinkedIn, in-person engagement, etc., to build a pipeline of targeted prospects.
    • Manage sales pipeline through sequential states of the sales process: prospect, initial outreach, product demo, negotiation, and close.
    • Take a consultative approach with the management team while navigating multiple decision-makers.
    • Conduct activities including outbound calls, emails, social selling, and sales demonstrations with prospective clients.
    • Consistently exceed monthly sales quota and be well compensated for doing so.
    • Work closely with the Account Management function to upsell and cross-sell the Verto suite of products.

    Requirements:

    • A recognised Bachelor's degree with an RE5 accreditation (mandatory).
    • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience within an FSP or similar corporate banking/hedge funding environment.
    • Experience dealing with clients from EMEA, LATAM (highly advantageous).
    • Understanding of the South African regulatory landscape (desirable).
    • Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Written and verbal communication in French is a major plus.
    • Team player mentality with the ability to work independently toward lofty goals.
    • Well-rounded with varied interests, background, and proven leadership experience.
    • C coachable, self-motivated, curious, and resilient.
    • Excellent organisational skills, including prioritisation, scheduling, and time management.
