Description

The Sales Representative Cape Town offers support to the Consumer Brand manager ensuring that products are always visible in their respective assigned stores.

In addition, the Sales Representative needs to execute in and out of store campaigns that promote the sale of products.


The Sales Representative is responsible to develop relations with salons and stylists to effectively execute visibility of the brand and product.


  • Ensures all products are always visible in stores with the correct price tags
  • Influence salon orders to ensure enough backup stock in salons
  • Translates local consumer insights into selling opportunities
  • Seeks opportunities to increase rate of sale in salons
  • Adapts plan throughout the year depending on sales performance, observed trends, Hair Trade shows, competitors' campaigns and successes to be replicated fast
  • Responsibility and ownership for collating and reporting the analysis on all campaigns
  • Evaluate and share findings on market trends (customers, prices, products and competition) in order to identify marketspecific needs in terms of product, promotions and creative concepts
  • Manage competitor analysis on a regular and consistent basis (acquisitions, pricing changes, new products and features)
  • Help prepare, manage and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual budget for sales spend
  • Seeks to understand the core consumer's motivations
  • Develop and maintain relationship to promote execution excellence

EDUCATION & RELEVANT YEARS JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a Salon Industry or similar setting as a Sales Representative or Marketer.

  • Branding of salons & POS handling
  • Product sampling and record keeping of salon data

Salary:
R20, R21,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cape Town,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)


Experience:

Artificial Hair Sales: 2 years (required)


License/Certification:

  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle (required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (required)
