OB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Liaising with transporters and all relevant external service providers
  • Creating and updating daily and monthly reports
  • Ensure that team pull all African orders weekly within the time frames given
  • Oversee the Africa department and invoicing of all Africa stock order
  • Addresses and resolves all relevant queries
  • Logistics coordination, administration, planning
  • Constantly striving to save costs in different aspects of the Africa supply chain, calculating freight costs and charges
  • Buffering or finding ways to improve the Africa supply chain wherever possible and customer services
  • Processing customs documents for all crossborder shipments
  • Overseeing loading of containers to prevent breakage/damage
  • Prepares and leads stock taking and investigates variances.
  • Various functions on inventory management system
  • Various functions on warehouse management system
  • Process incoming orders and customer stock calloffs
  • Monitor the progress of product manufacture.
  • Update and communicate order shipping details.
  • Advise customers of progress as appropriate.
  • Process shipping and import documentation.
  • Maintain customer records such as customer order details reports and Company's Navision systems with all details of activity.
  • Complete and hand over files to the inventory controller and the accounts department.
  • Ensure that files and orders are finalised.
  • Stay on top of monitoring administration of service contracts and completion monitoring.
  • Check all of the Jackaroo incoming shipments dates daily, update each of the three incoming shipment reports for changes in vessel dates.
  • Preparation of updated customer order details. (some weekly, others biweekly, customer dependent)
  • Provide weekly Stock on Hand, Ageing stock report to customer

  • Min 3-5 Years Supply Chain / Logistics and Distrubition exp:

Must be able to work independently as well as in a small team

Salary:
R18, R25,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Westville, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Diploma (preferred)

Experience:


  • SAP
Supply Chain Management: 3 years (required)

  • Logistics / Shipping / Imports: 3 years (required)
Microsoft Excel: 3 years (required)
Paper Industry: 1 year (preferred)
