    Job Title: Administrative Officer for NaTIS Training

    The Western Cape Government's Mobility Department is seeking a qualified and competent individual to provide training on the National Traffic Information System (NaTIS) to provincial users.

    This role involves supervising and coordinating activities related to NaTIS auditing, as well as user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure, travel frequently, and meet tight deadlines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and coordinate NaTIS training activities
    • Facilitate training for NaTIS users in the Western Cape
    • Supervise auditing of NaTIS transactions and other key tasks performed by internal NaTIS users

    Requirements:

    • Appropriate 3-year National Diploma or equivalent qualification
    • Minimum 3 years relevant NaTIS and administrative experience

    Desirable Qualification:

    • Certificate in Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices

    Essential Competencies:

    • Knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act and Regulations
    • Understanding of NaTIS Security Policy and the National Traffic Information System
    • Skills in numeracy, computer literacy, language skills, project management, accounting, finance, audit, economic analysis, presentation, legal administration, facilitation, and people management
