    Description

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks in the workshop and factory, including general machining work, plant maintenance, preventative maintenance and fault finding on mechanical equipment.

    • Maintenance of pumps, gearboxes and bearings
    • Implementation of 20 Keys/HACCP/Risk Control and adherence to housekeeping rules

    To be successful in this role, you must meet certain requirements:

    • Hold a technical matric or N3 qualification, with relevant experience as a Fitter and Turner
    • Possess at least 5 years' experience in factory maintenance, with excellent communication skills
    • Be prepared to work flexible hours, including shifts, overtime and weekends, with own reliable transportation
    • Demonstrate computer literacy and previous experience in a Poultry Processing Plant is an added advantage
