Senior Credit Controller Construction:

The role is responsible for credit management of an allocated number of clients which includes billing, collection and relationship building and the management of the credit control team

Objectives:

To ensure that Credit control policies procedures are applied to

day reports - updated on a weekly basis and forwarded to the Credit Manager

Must be able to perform reconciliations accurately and in the correct ageing
Monitor credit limits on a weekly basis
Interact with clients to obtain additional credit information to support credit lines
Reconcile transactions and balances to maintain accurate accounts
Initiate credits and adjustments to client accounts within the company policy limits
Submit requests to senior management and supporting documentation for accounts requiring credit limit Increased
Manage relationships with the clients in order to reduce exposure to potential bad debt
Monitor violations of credit policies, provide analysis, conclusion and recommendations, present findings to senior management and suggest actions / penalties to be taken when appropriate
Prepare cash forecasts including customer collections
Report on outstanding debt
Prepare age analysis reports
Supervise the credit Control Team Minimum:
Advance Excel

Grade 12

B.Com or similar

Credit Management
