About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join our Product Team. This data-enabled creative team is responsible for controlling the style and development of product, ensuring customers always have the right product while achieving gross margins.

Job Title: CAD Technician

Reports to: Product Designer

Role Objective: To produce clear, concise, and accurate technical drawings that facilitate product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality technical drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Work closely with the Product Design team to develop innovative furniture designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet business objectives.
• Maintain a strong understanding of furniture design principles and construction techniques.
• Ensure all deliverables meet the required standards for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Contribute to the development of new skills and knowledge within the team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role in the furniture or interior design industry.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of furniture design principles and construction techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
• Possess a keen eye for design and creativity to deliver unique designs.
