Description

Building innovative solutions for the entertainment industry's media localization needs requires experience and expertise. At Pixelogic Localization group, we work with Hollywood Studios and content owners to deliver their content to global audiences through language services such as scripting, subtitling, access services, and dubbing.

Linguistic Excellence

We are seeking post-processing language specialists to help us achieve linguistic excellence in localized content prior to delivery to global distributors. The expansion of global audiences highlights the importance of media asset linguistic quality, which is a primary need for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and quality check translated audio and subtitle files, reporting error patterns and root cause analysis to improve quality control workflows.
Collaborate across departments with account coordinators to ensure clear and executable project-specific linguistic instructions for translators.
Evaluate worldwide translators based on linguistic and technical quality to develop our preferred vendors list.
Monitor regional trends to identify changes in language or technical specifications.
Review language style guides to recommend language-specific checks for quality control process and facilitate R&D team for automated checks.
Research new tools and systems to enhance operational workflows.
Update workflows and checklists according to client specifications as needed.
Frequently review and evaluate resources to educate the post-processing team.
Maintain security policies and protect information assets entrusted.
Complete other related tasks assigned to fulfill responsibilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Linguistics or language study majors, or Entertainment and Media, is an advantage.
Passionate about language and customer service excellence.
Technical skills and knowledge of digital media tools and devices is desirable.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with non-native English speakers.
A sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adapt to new and evolving workflows and tools.
Problem solver with creative and innovative approach.
Attention to detail and ability to plan complex projects with urgency.
Positive attitude when experiencing obstacles.
