    Logistics Coordinator Position Available

    Our Client, an International Fruit Exporter, Requires a Logistics Coordinator to Assist with Supply Chain Management in Somerset West.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage Logistics Bookings, Shipments, and Customer Information
    • Coordinate Logistics Operations
    • Follow Up on Shipments and Monitor Progress
    • Day-to-Day Logistics Management and Organization
    • Arrange Shipping Lines and Transporters
    • Coordinate Logistics Processes with Cold Store Facilities
    • Send Loading Instructions to Depots and Warehouses
    • Track and Monitor Shipments to Ensure Timely Delivery
    • Prepare Shipping Orders, Invoices, and Customs Paperwork
    • Ensure Compliance with International Trade Regulations and Requirements
    • Handle Administrative Tasks Related to Bookings and Logistical Documentation
    • Manage Data Entry, Filing, and Maintain Accurate Records
    • Assist in Resolving Billing Discrepancies or Disputes Relating to Logistics
    • Stay Updated on Industry Regulations and Best Practices within the Fruit Industry
    • Contribute to the Continuous Improvement of Booking Processes and Procedures
    • Manage Stock Levels and Monitor Inventory
    • Daily Reporting to Suppliers and Receivers to Ensure Smooth Operations

    Required Qualifications:

    • Maturity Certificate with a Logistics-Related Degree or Equivalent Qualification
    • Previous Experience in Logistics within the Fruit Export Industry
    • In-Depth Knowledge of Export Procedures, Documentation, and Shipping Regulations
    • Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills
    • Attention to Detail and Accuracy in Handling Bookings and Documentation
    • Effective Communication Skills, Both Verbal and Written
    • Proficiency in Computer Systems and Software, Including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
