Injection Blow Moulding Factory Manager

  • A wellestablished plastic manufacturing company requires the above to manage their injection blow moulding factory specialising in the manufacture of HDPE bottles into a variety of different industries.

Minimum requirements for the role:


  • A tertiary qualification in an engineering or plastics or related discipline is preferred for the role or previous experience working as an injection technologist.
  • Previous experience having worked in a factory or related management role overseeing and managing injection blow moulding machines production processes and the quality of highdensity polyethylene (HDPE) bottles and other products ensuring that they meet customer spec.
  • Previous knowledge of plc's and machine software is essential.
  • Previous experience running multicavity injection moulding machines is essential.
  • Must be able to do injection and extrusion blow moulding mould changes and set up.
  • Must have good troubleshooting skills in both injection and extrusion blow moulding.
  • Managing the companies injection blow moulding factory specialising in the manufacture of HDPE bottles into a variety of different industries.
  • Overseeing general maintenance and mould changes.
  • Overseeing and running trials to develop new products to customer specifications.
  • Overseeing and setting up machines for injection blow moulding processes.
  • Managing production line operations in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing the correct startup of machinery, setting production recipes and specific regulation parameters.
  • Ensuring that customers receive highquality products at all times.
  • Regulating production processes and controlling production variables (quality and waste).
  • Managing production line ends, machine shutdowns, and all related maintenance activities.
  • Driving new projects and commissioning injection moulding equipment and moulds.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
