You will have the following**:

A Bachelor of Education,
_or_
A Tertiary qualification as Mining Engineer,
_or_
A Bachelor of Applied Science focusing on HSEQ
Experience and advanced knowledge of Project Management
Be Fluent in English.
Fluency in French will be advantageous.

10 years in a
Senior Training and Development capacity, with proven and successful experience leading a training and development department in a multilingual, culturally diverse
Mining environment.

Preferably you will have:

A Tertiary qualification as Mining Engineer,

You will have advanced skills and knowledge in:

Principles of adult vocational training and competency-based training.
Experience in analysing company needs, lesson planning, development and implementation.
Teaching theory for creating effective instructional materials.
Understanding of different Mining Environments
Knowledge and Experience of the Qualifications Framework
Goals and Customer service standards
Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
Project Management

Technical Skills should include:

Database and computer skills
MS Office
Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Project Management
Budgeting

Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to:

Process:
Streamline the group-wide technical training function

Develop, implement, monitor, maintain, and improve ongoing training programs & material across the business.
Develop and maintain Policies, Process, and Standard Operating Procedures for the Technical Training Centre
Establish Standards and Quality Assurance Methodology
Advise on Best Practices as a Subject Matter Expert
