    Senior Financial Manager

    We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our team at PMG Recruitment.

    About the Role

    This is a senior leadership position responsible for the accounting function of the Group and key financial processes in servicing customers. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team, gain broad exposure to the business, and be accountable for ensuring IFRS compliance.

    The individual will report directly to the Commercial Director and work closely with other members of the senior management team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Accounting Function: Direct and lead the Finance Department team, ensure IFRS compliance, and manage monthly reporting, Annual Financial Statements, and audit engagements.
    • Financial Management: Manage budgets, key process management, and project coordination. Ensure effectiveness, maintain efficiencies, and sign off process compliance activities.
    • Project Management: Sculp, plan, execute, and debrief projects, manage project resources, and prepare reports with timeous delivery, alert management to exceptions, and compile reports for Board meetings and funders.

    Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you must have:

    • A minimum of 15 years of experience, preferably with mid-sized companies, including reporting to external stakeholders.
    • Leadership experience in a financial role.
    • A working knowledge of IFRS.
    • Project management skills.
    • General Microsoft office tools, including Excel Advanced.
