We're looking for a tax professional, who understands the nuances between domestic corporate tax, international tax, anti-tax avoidance (in particular, SA controlled foreign company law), transfer pricing and indirect tax when providing advice.


POSITION OVERVIEW


The successful incumbent will work with the team of tax specialists, technology specialists, colleagues, and business to implement that strategy in the region.


ROLE PURPOSE


To provide support to the Group Tax Executive by controlling the tax affairs, including providing advice, of individual companies in the assign region ensuring that the Group meets its tax obligations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • B. Com Hons (Taxation) or B. Com plus a Higher Diploma in Tax
  • Master's in International Tax or similar qualification an advantage
  • CA (SA an advantage

OVERALL EXPERIENCE
- +10yrs experience in an international tax consulting role, or in the commercial environment.
