Requirements

• National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
• Minimum N3 Engineering Studies Certificate.
• Electrician Trade Test Certificate (Section 13/Red Seal).
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years post trade working experience in a technical steel / manufacturing environment.
• Drivers License with own reliable transport.

Skills and Knowledge

• PLC & Drive experience (programming skills beneficial).
• Knowledge of various sensors (inclino sensors, read switches and encoders).
• Electrical experience in a plant environment.
• Panels and DB Boards.
• Automated machines.
• Drives and/or invertors.
• Generator electrical systems.
• Control systems.
• Mains and/or reticulation.

About the Role

This role involves working in a technical steel / manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical issues. They will also be responsible for maintaining and upgrading electrical systems to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.
