Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Code EC driver's license
- 2 years' relevant experience in a fleet environment.
- 2 years relevant supervisory experience
- Relevant experience in a Transport Environment
Primary Duties - Establish, monitor and maintain a quality transport service
- Initiate follow up and corrective action regarding vehicle/plant damage/losses
- Charge-out system correctly & effectively applied
- Provide a full spectrum of fleet management and management service for Rand Water vehicles
- Train and coach staff constantly
- Fleet control management
- Economical vehicle maintenance
- Motivate budget requirements and needs
- Ensure compliance with the financial regulations and standards of Rand Water
- Ensure correct allocation of network numbers and budget
- Comprehensive reports and advice
Knowledge - Working knowledge of the Road Traffic Act/Legislation and AARTO
- Working knowledge of SHEQ
- Computer literacy
Skills - Communication skills .
- Administrative skills – Office duties, documentation, filling etc.
- Problem solving skills.
