    Senior Contracts Administrator

    A global energy company with operations in Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East is looking to hire a Senior Contracts Administrator for their Cape Town office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Contractual risk assessment and management.
    • Effective stakeholder management under various project agreements.
    • Drafting contractual communications and managing deliverables.
    • Coordinating meetings with Contract Managers to explain contractual obligations.
    • Processing documentation and change protocols for contractor claims.
    • Preparing and issuing pass-through claims related to project documents.
    • Compiling information to defend the Employer's position in contractual disputes.
    • Drafting position papers regarding claims and variations.
    • Attending internal and external meetings.
    • Updating registers for bonds, contracts, variations, and claims.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in built environment/engineering and/or construction law.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in large complex projects within the Energy industry.
    • Knowledge of contract administration and management within large-scale projects.
    • Understanding of non-contractual matters such as engineering, cost control, planning, and construction.
    • Basic understanding of scheduling/planning principles.
