A well-known outdoor company is looking for a confident and energetic assistant to the Director of Marketing and Buying Category Manager. The successful person will be young and able to put on various hats within the role and can be flexible to manage a busy schedule.

Min of - 5 years of PA experience.

Intermediate Excel skills.

Proficient in MS Office.

Excellent in time management.

Duties and responsibilities:******:

Preparing communications on behalf of a manager.
***:
-
Answering phone calls, taking detailed messages, and making phone calls on behalf of the manager.
***:
-
Plan travel, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.
***:
-
Organising and planning meetings and booking boardrooms (Outlook).
***:
-
Taking notes and writing minutes during meetings when requested
***:
-
Conducting or preparing any research that the reporting manager may require on any given topic.

Various ad hoc requests.
***:
-
Help with daily time management.
***:
-
Recon and hand in company credit card and expenses on a monthly basis.

Travel to stores to collect or purchase goods.
***:

Prepare and recon monthly marketing expenses.
***:

Present and review monthly marketing expenses with the manager and give and follow up on corrections with finance.

Prepare monthly Marketing reports with various statistics and figures.
***:

Answer, filter or forward all marketing related came view various marketing campaign catalogues (price check, spell check, and product photo check).

Responsible for doing journal requests from stores and checking stock against what has been requested.

Organize embroidery and engraving for promotional items or clothing for events or sponsorships.

Do research and get pricing on billboards, street polls, inserts in newspapers or magazines and various other printed or digital marketing platforms.

Arrange and manage events.
***:

Do and present budgets for events.
***:

Assisting with everyday merch/buying administrative tasks (GP check sheet, outstanding PO's, etc.).

Placing purchase orders with local suppliers.
***:

Amending purchase orders /splitting purchase orders according to stock availability or as instructed by buyer.

Following up on outstanding and future order with suppliers.
***:

Supplying feedback to the manager with regards to outstanding orders

Creating new stock items on the ERP
***:
-
Amending existing items on the ERP according to information supplied by buyer
***:

Doing stock transfers between stores with information given or supplied from buyer
