  • The HR Officer Operations role is responsible for the maintenance of Human Resources practices and systems within an Operational Area to achieve work outputs. This may occur within the areas of manning (M4S), employee relations, development, and information management or general Human Resources projects, by ensuring that system policies and procedures are adhered to.

  • Effective systems management of all HR processes and/or functions.
  • Monitor the HR processes regularly to ensure conformance to and understanding of standards and procedures by clients.
  • Control discipline and ensure fair decisions regarding Industrial Relations by following procedures and ensuring that stakeholders are well versed in the procedures.
  • Ensure work is fairly allocated to any HR Assistant.
  • Hold disciplinary and grievance inquiries as prescribed by the policy.
  • Prepare relevant reports timeously.
  • Manage and facilitate the recruitment process
  • Support the HR Management team to achieve goals and objectives.

This role is in the Human Resources department at a Band 7 level reporting to the HR Coordinator Operations
**Qualifications

  • You must have**:
  • NQF 5 Higher Certificate/Diploma or higher in Human Resource Management/Employee Relations or higher.
  • NQF 6 Advanced Certificate/National Diploma or Post Grad Labour Law will be advantageous.

Experience required:


  • At least 5 years Generalist Human Resources experience, of which 2 years in the mining environment.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Computer literate
  • SAP system knowledge will be advantageous.
