Job Description:

The HR Department requires an individual who understands the OUTsurance' s culture and its value system to join the current HR Team as a Recruitment Specialist.

The role involves creating a high quality pool of applicants and making choices from that pool to supply the company with the right person at the right time to increase the company's performance.

It is the process of acquiring, deploying, and retaining people of sufficient quantity and quality to create a high performing, diverse and values based culture.



  • Matric
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3 or years or more experience in Recruitment within a corporate environment is essential
  • Understanding of the FAIS Fit and Proper Requirements
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Travel when required


  • Recruitment Agency experience is beneficial
  • Work in partnership with the hiring manager to manage the sourcing and recruiting activities
  • Maintaining relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast with current and future hiring needs
  • Attract the best talent in the market to service multiple business units you will be assigned to.
  • Compiles professional job descriptions and keeps content therein relevant and current.
  • Is able to marry personal abilities of applicants to job requirements and organisational culture.
  • Understands the labour market and is able to source quality applicants from the market.
  • Utilises all inhouse sourcing tools including the company career website as well as others
  • Conducts telephonic interviews using inhouse systems and processes.
  • Conducts face to face interviews or Virtual Interviews (depending on requirement at the time) by using targeting selection and dynamic interviewing techniques.
  • Provides both successful and unsuccessful applicants candid developmental feedback that is legally defensible.
  • Can recruit large numbers using bulk intake approach and processes.
  • Communicates recruitment progress routinely to line managers and HR Business Partners.
  • Is able to compile job offers and take full accountability for job offers and related admin.
  • Loads new staff on the system professionally and on time as per SLA in place.
  • Build effective relationships with managers and provide advice and support to the line managers with expert knowledge on recruitment processes and procedures.
