Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Structural Engineer to join our team at Curiska (Pty) Ltd.

About the Role: As a Professional Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for defining project scope and managing proposals, collaborating with project teams, engineers, and contractors, leading the structural design team, managing project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, preparing NEC3/NEC4 contract documents, designing and analyzing concrete and steel structures, updating and reviewing design drawings, inspecting and assessing structural components in industrial plants, and providing technical support during construction.

Requirements:

8 years' experience in concrete and steel structure design
Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/BSc/BTech) or similar
Registered as a Professional Engineer/Technologist with ECSA
Skilled in Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD, Prokon, and Revit
Valid driver's license

Responsibilities:

Define project scope and manage proposals
Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and contractors
Lead the structural design team
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Prepare NEC3/NEC4 contract documents
Design and analyze concrete and steel structures
Update and review design drawings
Inspect and assess structural components in industrial plants
Provide technical support during construction

Desirable Skills: Experience in industrial projects (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Mining, Power) is a plus.
