Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team in the security industry in South Africa.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our comprehensive range of security products and services to both new and existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Sales Prospecting: Identify potential customers and generate leads through various channels such as coldcalling, networking events, and online platforms.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their security needs, and providing appropriate solutions.

- Product Presentation: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our security offerings.
- Sales Negotiation: Prepare and present competitive sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to develop effective sales strategies.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and progress reports for regular review with the sales manager.
- Customer Support: Offer aftersales support and address customer inquiries to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the sales and marketing team to implement strategies and achieve company sales objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record in sales, preferably in the security industry or related field.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with various security products and solutions, such as access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems, and security software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly to clients.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain lasting relationships with clients.
- Results-Oriented: Goaldriven and able to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Experience:
- Sales: 3 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driving License (required)
