    Description

    Our company, Express Employment Professionals (Witbank), is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chrome Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

    Job Purpose:

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and improvement of plant equipment and systems in a chrome plant environment. This involves ensuring that all equipment runs efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal plant performance
    • Carry out routine maintenance and inspections of equipment
    • Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
    • Develop and implement improvement projects to increase plant efficiency and productivity
    • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

    Requirements:

    • National Diploma/BEng Degree/ BTech Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related fields
    • GCC Mines and Works qualification
    • Post Graduate Diploma (advantageous)
    • 5-10 years of working experience in a chrome plant environment
    • 2-5 years of Plant Engineering experience within the Plant Industry (Post GCC)
    • Extensive knowledge of plant equipment and maintenance practices
    • Familiarity with Mine Health and Safety Act and Mining Regulations
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

    Estimated Salary: R 650,000 - R 850,000 per annum.
