MAIN PURPOSE:


Key Performance Areas:


  • Inspect vehicle tyres, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and costeffective performance with preventive maintenance in mind
  • Maintain communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received
  • Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies to the company
  • Maintain and monitor vehicle maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain required documents for safety, security and quality processes
  • Maintain a safe driving record free of violations and accidents
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner
  • Collect, load and offload recycling by hand.

Qualifications:


  • Valid Code 10 Driver's License
  • Valid PDP
  • Matric

Knowledge and Experience:


  • 25 years experience in Transport
  • Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps
  • Knowledge of Traffic Regulation with regard to Transport

Skills and Inherent Requirements

  • Good Communication Skills
  • Good Judgement and Decision-Making Skills
  • Sober Habits
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Willing to work weekends and public holidays if required
  • Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery/collection experience
  • Fit and of good health in order to lift heavy goods
  • Work well within a team

Salary:
R5,400.00 per month
