- Grade 12/Standard 10 Certificate
- Competent A & B Certificate Rockbreaker Certificate Level 2 in a Trackless Mining Environment
- Assessors Certificate Train the trainer Certificate/Coach Learners Code 08 (B) Drivers Licence
- National Certificate in Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices (ODETDP) NQF Level 4
- National Certificate in Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices (ODETDP) NQF Level 4
- 2-5 years practical experience as Production Team Leader in a trackless environment
