    Job Title: Junior Packaging Designer

    About the Role

    We are currently seeking talented junior-level packaging designers to join our dynamic art department.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Design packaging and promotional materials, including mock-ups, presentations, DTP, catalogue creation, flyer design, product photography, deep etching, and retouching for print.
    2. Create brands and logos with strong CI design knowledge.
    3. Develop illustrations and patterns.
    4. Solve problems independently and take initiative.
    5. Maintain consistency in your work and monitor your own time management.
    6. Meet deadlines by working efficiently.
    7. Understand die lines and adjust dies according to new sizes.
    8. Possibly mentor junior designers and share expertise.
    9. Comprehend the print process, including different methods of printing on various finishes, color separation, print preparation, and repro.

    Requirements

    1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in design.
    2. One to two years' experience in a studio or agency, focusing on packaging, presentations, and layout (DTP).
    3. Understanding of repro for print.
    4. Familiarity with best practices for print.
    5. Ability to read dielines and amend dies as needed.
    6. Diverse portfolio of packaging work.
    7. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
    8. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, PDF, and Excel.
    9. Computer literacy.

    Desirable Skills

    • 3D design skills using Blender.
