    Description

    Internal Auditor Role at Network Finance in Cape Town

    We are seeking a Corporate Internal Auditor to enhance our processes and mitigate risks in vibrant Cape Town. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will drive change, detect inefficiencies, and safeguard our assets.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Conduct thorough audits of business processes, identifying areas for improvement and proposing enhancements to internal controls.
    2. Collaborate with management to address audit findings and drive strategic actions to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls.
    3. Lead risk management efforts, providing expert advice on threat mitigation strategies and staying up-to-date with relevant regulations and standards.
    4. Combat fraud and safeguard organizational assets through rigorous audit procedures and regular monitoring.
    5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain the highest level of professionalism throughout all audit activities.
    6. Prepare clear and compelling audit reports, providing valuable insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
    7. Contribute to the development of the annual risk-based audit plan and support the creation of informative audit committee reporting.

    Qualifications and Experience

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Internal Auditing or a related field.
    2. Possession of CIA qualification is highly desirable.
    3. A minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably within the Fintech industry, with a strong understanding of internal audit principles, compliance standards, and risk management strategies.
