With a direct report to the GM, this position has the responsibility to manage and develop and grow the Centre in Cape Town through strategic planning, change management, risk management and to be a Team leader.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To Assume overall responsibility and accountability for the Centre:

  • Achievement of Centre budgets and targets
  • Centre profitability across all business areas
  • Centre Administration
  • Asset management
  • Stock Management
  • Customer relationship management
  • Entrepreneurial attribute
To assume responsibility and accountability for the full Branch Administration function including:

  • Centre financial administration.
  • Centre workshop administration
  • Centre equipment Sales administration
  • Centre rental administration
  • Centre parts Administration
  • Adherence to ISO and OHAS standards
  • To assume responsibility for the Branch budgeting process.
  • To assume responsibility for the day-to-day management and administration of the Centre including the implementation of the required processes and internal controls.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and subsidiary on Centre related queries.
  • To ensure that all the mandatory reports are reviewed monthly as required

This includes:

  • WIP
  • Debtors
  • P&L report
  • Sales reports
  • CRM
  • Other
To assume responsibility and accountability for staff management and development, including but not limited to:

  • Recruitment and placement of staff in conjunction with HR
  • Managing staff morale and productivity
  • Performance management
  • Staff development
To communicate with GM on any issues requiring escalation or intervention.
