Ability to control resources at a level commensurate with profit requirements and enhanced customer relations.

  • Ability to maximize departmental profitability through the sale of labour.
  • Supervision of staff, management of performance, discipline and other staff management related functions.
  • Ability to ensure service department achieves budget objectives through daily, weekly and monthly monitoring and control of accounts, operating controls and composite figures.
  • Ability to ensure efficient operation of the service department through efficient labour utilization, productivity and sales.
  • Ability to ensure excellence in customer service.
  • Ability to maintain effective control of expenses through monthly examination of management accounts to ensure expenditure for the Service Department is in line with budgeted labour sales.
  • Work In Process reporting
  • Cash Sales reporting
  • Switch board Process
  • Booking Process
  • Costing / Claiming process.
  • Parts return / Part disposables process
  • Document filing, storage, and archiving process
  • Service Debtors & Creditor queries
  • Allocations of Warranty recon and following up on discrepancies
  • Compliance / Risk
  • General Administration

Position Overview:

To assist management by providing unlimited customer service to service customers ensuring a positive customer experience is achieved. Ensuring the highest standard of courtesy and efficiency in customer contact and communication.


Specific Role Responsibilities:

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Matric
  • A minimum of 3 years Service Admin Manager's experience is essential.
  • Mercedes Benz of SA Management Certification will be an added advantage.
  • Mercedes-Benz Product Knowledge a
    MUST.
  • Valid Driver's License C1, EC will be an added advantage.
  • Fully computer literate.
  • Kerridge experience will be beneficial.
