    • New Client Prospecting
      • Targeting new business based on monthly market segments.
      • Targeting new business based on industry changes, updates, and history norms.
      • Providing quotations for new clients.
    • New Client Induction
      • Assisting clients with completing new client forms.
      • Guiding new clients through the finance information process for Microchem procedures and policies.
      • Confirming new client details with the sample logger and laboratory before releasing results.
      • Resolving outstanding queries.
      • FOLLOWING UP WITH NEW CLIENTS regarding their first interaction with Microchem and resolving any raised complaints.
    • New Client Interactions
      • Resolving all queries and customer complaints for new clients.
      • Monthly follow-up meetings with all new clients.
      • Reporting on new VIP clients and discussing them with senior representatives in external meetings.
    • Sales of Laboratory Services
      • Increasing annual sales by 10% each year.
    • Market Segmented Database of Leads/Prospective Clients
      • Compiling and maintaining a database of leads through referrals, telephone calls, face-to-face cold calling, email, and networking.
    • Market Segmented Database of Existing Clients
      • Compiling and maintaining a database of existing clients to communicate more effectively.
    • Staying Abreast of Industry Developments
      • Forming and maintaining relationships with key role players through continuous contact and interaction.
    • Understanding Pricing and Quotation System and LIMS
      • Demonstrating the ability to compile quotations and navigate the LIMS system.
    • Feedback to Managing Director and Senior Managers
      • Submitting weekly reports recording sales, prospective activities, sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
      • Reporting daily on Sales and Hygiene Drive.
      • Attending weekly feedback meetings to update on new client information.
    • Optimizing Efficiency and Systems
      • Compiling monthly reports of sales activities and saving them on the sales drive.
      • Identifying issues in various departments and finding suitable solutions.

    Customer Service

    • Selling consultatively to prospective clients and existing clients.
      • Making recommendations of tests and services offered by Microchem based on client needs.
    • Assisting New Clients with Account Opening Process
      • Zero hold-up with commencing analysis due to incomplete client information forms and request forms.
    • Providing Technical Support to Clients
      • Assisting clients telephonically and responding to phone calls within 30 minutes.
      • Replying to emails within 2 hours.
      • Holding monthly meetings with VIP clients and documenting them on the sales drive.
    • Building Lasting Relationships with Customers
      • Being professional and courteous in all forms of communication.
      • Informing clients of what's happening in the business periodically.

    Ad Hoc Tasks

    • Completing reports on the sales drive as requested for ad hoc markets targeted.
    • Performing any other reasonable tasks requested by management.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    Qualifications Required:

    • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Food Technology.
    • Valid driver's license.

    Experience Required:

    • 5 years of experience in sales and laboratory work.
