    Description

    Job Title: Financial Services Administrator/assistant

    Location: Fourways, South Africa

    Purpose:

    The Financial Services Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting the financial services team by managing administrative tasks, client communications, and financial documentation. This position is ideal for ambitious professionals eager to grow within the financial planning or client services field.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Ensure effective communication with stakeholders by following up on instructions, managing client queries, and requesting necessary documents.

    2. Prepare and post quarterly reports, complete forms, and handle client documentation accurately and efficiently.

    3. Compile investment proposals, track new business, withdrawals, and other financial instructions to ensure seamless transaction processing.

    4. Schedule meetings, manage the advisor's diary, and monitor meeting action items to maintain productivity and organization.

    5. Verify compliance with legal and estate planning documents, and update FICA and FAIS records promptly.

    6. Assist with general office management and attend client presentations and events to foster strong relationships.

    Requirements:

    General:

    We are seeking an individual with:

    1. Strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets.

    2. Preference for qualifications in investment management, financial planning, accounting, tax, or CFP.

    3. Minimum 1 year's experience in a financial services environment.

    4. Knowledge of FAIS and FICA regulations.

    5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    6. Driver's license and own vehicle.
