Membership Liaison, Events & Marketing Manager with a background in the Hospitality industry required.

A minimum of 2 years' experience in Events Coordination essential.


Key responsibilities:


  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders and members on executive level.
  • Encouraging member participation in events and maintaining a high level of member satisfaction.
  • Being responsible for all customerfacing activities, including member onboarding activities, designing and implementing initiatives to welcome new members and resolving any member issues.
  • Creating, implementing and executing all events and functions in a manner that will impact a target audience.
  • Sourcing and negotiating with vendors and suppliers.
  • Managing all aspects of events on the day.
  • Developing and implementing marketing related activities, monitoring and analysing proposals, campaigns and events under the guidance of the General Manager.
  • Handling and streamlining communication between all departments and ensuring compliance before distributing to members and uploading to social media.
  • Producing communication materials to keep members informed of ongoing activities.
  • Creating and implementing online marketing plans and strategies, including managing and maintaining brand related social media platforms, blog research and writing, monitoring and engaging in brand related online conversations, community outreach, promotions and so forth.
  • Managing website content and facilitating design thereof.
  • Writing and distributing press releases for relevant print and electronic media.
  • Setting up campaign calendars, creating monthly progress reports and campaign summary reports.
  • Ensuring close integration with the overall company strategies, activities, events and membership departments.

  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
  • Strong administration skills
  • Ability to prioritize work load
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of IT and website maintenance
  • Knowledge and experience in CANVA advantageous.
  • Relevant specialised training marketing, hospitality, event management, customer service and so forth.
  • Familiarity with budgets and an understanding of accounting processes.
