    OVERVIEW We are seeking a junior to intermediate Sales Executive, preferably with experience in the tourism industry. The ideal candidate should possess the skills and drive necessary to sell advertising for a business-to-business publication.

    This role is best suited to a hunter someone who thrives on the challenge of identifying and securing new clients while uncovering fresh business opportunities.

    Hunters take charge of prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals to bring in new business.

    They excel at lead generation and qualification, demonstrate high energy and resilience, and are motivated by achieving ambitious revenue goals.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Identify and secure new clients by generating leads through prospecting and cold calling. Sell advertising space for a business-to-business publication while building strong client relationships. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets, with the ability to adjust as necessary. Maintain existing client relationships, actively driving upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Utilize a CRM system to track sales activities and ensure accurate and up-to-date records. Leverage digital tools to enhance sales efforts and keep up with industry trends. Continuously improve sales skills and actively seek opportunities for professional development. Use own vehicle for client visits and manage administrative tasks as needed. Exhibit a proactive attitude, self-confidence, and strong organizational abilities.


    REQUIREMENTS:
    Passion for sales. Willingness to sharpen skills and achieve success. Self-confidence with a proactive, can-do attitude. Ability to bring in new business and retain existing clients. Capability to plan and execute a sales strategy. Own car and valid driving license. Matric essential; tertiary qualification in business or marketing an advantage. Some sales experience. Experience in advertising sales (preferably business-to-business). Experience with CRM systems. Digitally savvy.
