Warehouse Inbound Supervisor

Babylonstoren's warehouse in Johannesburg has grown significantly, and we are looking for a dynamic Warehouse Inbound Supervisor to join our team.

You must be detail orientated with an energetic and positive attitude to complement the current company culture.

Requirements:

A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12)
Proven, relevant experience in warehousing / supply chain / logistics
Computer literate (MS Office, Sage, handheld devices)
3+ years warehouse and/or logistics experience (FMCG experience would be advantageous)
Valid driver's license
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Superior planning ability
Exceptional leadership skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Good selfmanagement practices
Strong achievement orientation
Ability to adapt to and implement change effectively
Available to work on weekends
Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with exceptional writing and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Following and implementing stock receiving processes
Quality and quantity checks at receiving, including clear communication on any deviations and timely corrections done
Coordinating stock control operations in the warehouse whilst ensuring accurate inventory
Managing produce according to FEFO principles
Reducing waste by ensuring optimal stock levels
Carrying out regular inventory audits
Keeping track of stock supply and shortages
General warehouse maintenance
Ensure and maintain a safe warehouse operation whilst driving awareness and compliance
