IT Team Assistant (technical)

The Response team has grown to an amazing size, and we are now needing to appoint a switched-on Team Assistant to take over all the administrative and recurring tasks for the Engineers to do what they do best.


This role is for someone who loves working within an IT/Cybersecurity environment, utilizing your organisation skills, and ensuring that the team is together and administratively organised.


Having a technical/IT understanding or background would be hugely beneficial in securing an interview.
The successful person will assist our Response Department.


Depending on your passion and aptitude, this is a great opportunity to get into Cyber Security with exposure to tools and technologies used within the industry.


  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience performing administrative tasks
  • Passion for administrative tasks done in great detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong teamwork capability
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Great Interpersonal and organisation skills
  • Desire to work within an IT/ Cyber Security environment
  • Strong documentation ability
  • Project management experience
  • Deadline driven / orientated

Beneficial Skills:


  • IT certificates would be beneficial
  • IT experience or exposure would be a great addition to be beneficial in this role

Roles and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Assist the Response team with the tracking of stale cases and ensuring that case follow-ups are performed as per the process and guidelines provided.
  • Assist the Response and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) teams in monthly threat hunt coordination, including scheduling, time allocation and tracking completion for the month.
  • Create, modify and update the documentation related to the response team.
  • Modify and update changes that are required for internal documentation related to response.
  • Assist in the creation and modification of dashboards that exist on Elastic
  • Provide followups regarding issues that are logged on GitHub
  • Schedule meetings for Response Department
  • Track projects that are defined by the Response Manager and Response Team Leads
  • Assist the response team in keeping track of outstanding defence threats and service improvements
