    Description
    Job Title/Position:

    Senior Financial Engineering Manager

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage the risk elements of an allocated audit client portfolio relating to global markets.
    • Present audit findings to clients and assist with audit committee document submission.
    • Engage with fellow joint auditors on cross-reviews of FEG-related matters.
    • Manage staff to ensure equitable resource planning and adequate team transformation.
    • Review quantitative work performed by junior resources to ensure accurate measurement and documentation of valuation risk factors.
    • Mentor and act as a role model to junior resources.
    • Coordinate monthly knowledge shares and present on areas of judgment beneficial to FEG.
    • Provide technical assistance on complicated accounting and auditing applications.
    • Contribute to business unit strategic initiatives, ensuring high audit quality and generating advisory engagements.
    • Track FEG financial performance and coordinate manager meetings.
    • Drive innovation within the group, focusing on portfolio valuations and AI tool development.
    Requirements:
    • Deep understanding of global market risks, including trading processes and treasury controls.
    • Experience with banking trading systems (Front Arena, Murex).
    • Strong leadership and team player skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively.
    • eAudIT and Clara knowledge.
    • Up-to-date with accounting, auditing standards, and global best practices.
    • Strong quantitative knowledge and experience.
    • Enthusiasm, individual initiative, and self-drive.
    Minimum Requirements:
    • CA(SA) or equivalent qualification, with at least 2 years of experience since completion of training contract.
    • Experience in global market audits, with emphasis on treasury, stockbroking, and asset management clients preferred.
    • Leadership experience in FEG engagements.
    • Completion or study towards CFA accreditation an advantage.
