    Role of Instructional Designer

    You will design and develop learning and training materials for teachers and facilitators, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Define content development objectives and create engaging content aligned with these goals.
    2. Conduct research and collaborate with stakeholders to identify target audience learning needs.
    3. Design and develop interactive content and assessments for facilitators and internal staff.
    4. Determine assessment criteria and develop relevant evaluations.
    5. Maintain and update content to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
    6. Create supporting materials, including images, audio, and video.
    7. Monitor module completion on the Learner Management System and develop campaigns to enhance engagement.
    8. Ensure content alignment with the Crayon brand.
    9. Manage documentation and folders.

    Requirements

    Essential Skills:

    1. Grade 12 qualification
    2. Relevant qualifications in advertising, communication, journalism, English, or graphic design
    3. Knowledge of learning styles and design models
    4. Experience with design platforms
    5. Excellent written and oral communication skills
    6. Image, audio, and video editing skills
    7. Familiarity with Learner Management Systems

    What We Offer

    R30,000 to R35,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
