    Job Title: Expense Manager

    We are seeking a skilled GFM to oversee the expense side of our business, ensuring efficient and compliant management of company expenses.

    This role involves overseeing the expense management process across the organization, analyzing and reporting on expenses, and providing strategic insights to optimize cost efficiency.

    1. Expense Management:

      • Oversee day-to-day management of company expenses.
      • Develop and implement expense policies and procedures.
      • Ensure all expenses are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
      • Lead and mentor the Procurement department and team.
    2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

      • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual expense reports.
      • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on expense trends.
      • Develop expense forecasts and budgets in collaboration with department heads.
    3. Compliance and Controls:

      • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
      • Implement and monitor internal controls related to expense management.
      • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity of expense data.
    4. Strategic Planning and Cost Optimization:

      • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
      • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on expense management.
      • Support implementation of cost control initiatives.
    5. Team Leadership and Development:

      • Lead and mentor the expense management team.
      • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
      • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    6. Stakeholder Management:

      • Liaise with internal and external auditors.
      • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on expense policies and procedures.
      • Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders on expense-related matters.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
    • Registered CA or similar.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on expense management.
    • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.

    Salary Banding:

    R70,000 - R110,000
