POSITION TITLE:
MDU Customer Administrator


Background


GoSolr, the leading residential solar company in South Africa, is expanding its product offering for small to medium residential Multi Dwelling Units (MDUs)/sectional titles, as well as Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs).


GoSolr offers a hybrid, flexible, and simple needs-based product offering energy security and long-term cost savings for residents and body corporates.

These products are sold to body corporates only and don't engage with end-user residents.

As the MDU Customer Administrator, your primary responsibility is to provide administrative support to the MDU department. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, managing documentation, and coordinating various activities related to commercial MDU projects.

Your role will involve interfacing with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers to ensure efficient project execution and customer satisfaction and will be an in office, permanent position.


Key Responsibilities:


Administrative Support

  • Maintain and organise administrative records, including contracts, permits, and project documentation
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for solar staff required to visit possible/ongoing MDU projects
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence related to the MDU projects

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate project activities
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
  • Assist in project planning to ensure projects are completed on schedule
  • Update project status reports and communicate progress to stakeholders regularly

Regulatory Compliance

  • Assist in obtaining necessary permits, licences, and approvals for the MDU projects
  • Prepare and submit regulatory documentation as required by Compliance

Customer Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding inquiries, complaints, or issues related to installations
  • Coordinate with technical teams to address customer concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues

Data Management

  • Maintain databases and software systems used for tracking project metrics, customer information and performance data
  • Assist in analysing data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of operational efficiency

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, environmental science, engineering, or related field
  • Previous experience in administrative roles, prefereably in the renewable energy industry
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- knowledge of solar energy principles, technologies, and industry trends is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment
