    Description

    Logistics Coordinator Position in Retreat Area, Cape Town

    We are seeking an experienced logistics coordinator/controller with up to 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international import and export.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the movement and storage of international inbound shipments.
    • Manage domestic distribution of stock.
    • Ensure seamless flow and management of supply chain documentation.
    • Liaise with couriers and outsourced warehouse providers.
    • Capture, fill, save, and print data accurately.
    • Prepare supplier, freight forwarder, and courier reports.
    • Verify that all shipments arrive on schedule and that all stock & components are checked, unpacked, and relabelled correctly.

    Requirements:

    • Matric or Grade 12 qualification.
    • A degree in International Freight Management/Transport Economics or Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
    • Up to 5 years of relevant logistics coordinator experience from a product warehouse distribution industry.
    • Good understanding of international import/export supply chain management.
    • Thorough knowledge of domestic warehousing and courier operations.

    Work Environment:

    The position is office-bound, with working hours from 07:30 to 16:30.
