    Overview

    Talent-Shore brings over 30 years of experience in themed attraction design and build, crafting compelling propositions for theme parks, zoos, hotels, museums, family entertainment, and heritage centers.

    We excel in developing established brands as well as creating new concepts, characters, and film media for individual rides and interactive experiences. Our team takes projects from idea inception to creative development, storyboarding, designing three-dimensional environments, specifying materials, and providing on-site art direction during installation.

    Job Description

    As a CAD Technician, you will deliver drawing packages with precise details, enabling contractors to create their construction drawings. You will interpret 2D and 3D thematic concepts into real-world plans and elevations, translating our conceptual designs into technical drawings with suitable materials and finishes.

    Much of our work involves translating characters and worlds from well-known IPs and brands into coherent technical drawings, often incorporating organic and fantastical scenery. We expect you to possess the skills to translate these elements into detailed technical drawings.

    Responsibilities

    • Proficiently use Autodesk AutoCAD to deliver high-quality drawing packages.
    • Knowledge of 3D modeling programmes, ideally Cinema 4D.
    • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative suite may be beneficial.
    • Experience delivering technical drawing packages for hospitality, leisure, interiors, retail, and entertainment projects, as well as film or TV.
    • Collaborate with a remote team primarily operating within the UK/EU time zone.

    Requirements

    Location: Remote

    Employment Type: 6-month contract (with possible extension)

    UK Working Hours: 9-5pm

    Salary Range: R30 000 - R50 000
