    About Us

    We are a leading South African online retailer seeking a highly talented Assistant Planner to join our Retail Planning Team in Cape Town.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist Planners with overseeing the In-stock function, including demand planning, ordering, and capacity management in line with department strategy.
    • Deliver accurate insights and reports on a timely basis, enabling department managers to make commercial decisions and meet revenue and margin plans.
    • Create sustainable In-stock systems and processes in partnership with central analytics, technical, and product teams.
    • Compile the annual retail sales budget, quarterly plan, working plan, as well as ongoing reforecasting at category and product levels to ensure budgets are achieved.
    • Manage end-to-end inventory availability and health, including improved in-stock rates, inventory planning, systematic forecasting, markdown, and clearance provisions, return to supplier activities, and warehouse space management.

    Requirements

    • Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
    • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Comfortable learning and adapting to new systems.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Commerce, Finance, Mathematics, or Economics (preferable).
    • At least 1 year of related retail/commerce experience.
    • Proficient in Excel sheets.
