    Job Summary

    Serve as the principle liaison and point of contact between Operations and 3rd Party Distributors (OTA's, STO's, Wholesalers, PCO's, Travel Agents). Represent the business in the marketplace and collaborate with the Sales Manager to maximise occupancy at the highest possible rate.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Position the business and its services in the marketplace to increase revenue.
    • Work closely with Department Teams to ensure a coordinated effort between Sales, Reservations, and Operations.
    • Conduct comprehensive site surveys with interested parties in the organisation's properties.
    • Distribute up-to-date Service, Rate, and Promotional/Campaign information to 3rd Party Distributors, Consortia, OTA's, and PCA's.
    • Attend trade shows and events to promote and sell the hotel and its services (with the Sales Manager).

    Requirements

    • Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management / Financial Management.
    • Extensive background in Sales and Marketing.
    • 3 years of experience in Sales operations of a luxury hotel.
    • Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken).
    • Proficient user of OPERA.
    • Familiarity with Up-Sell and Cross-Sell strategies.
    • Able to collect market data for analysis and creation of Market Studies.
    • Anticipate future circumstances and requests, and plan accordingly.
    • Familiarity with Financial good practice.
    • Management of various booking channels.
    • Proficient user of Microsoft Office software applications.
