Position:
Payroll Administrator

Location:
Sandton, Johannesburg

Contract:
On-site

We are searching for a trustworthy Payroll Administrator that can help the payroll division with everyday tasks. They are in charge of recording and keeping uptodate employee payroll records for their designated cost centers.

Responsibilities include:

Responding to customer service inquiries
Providing support for both internal and external payroll inquiries
Help dropin customers at the payroll front desk.
Input and salary reconciliation at the QA and Recon stages
Extracting reports from VIPs
Introducing new hires
Calculating and getting ready for clawbacks
LOA capture for new recruits
Capturing additional DEZ and central payroll input
Processing various deductions for employees
Preparing manual salary adjustment payments
Employee transfers
Process terminations
Update changes in banking details, marital status, job titles, job levels etc
Submit NMG pension and provident withdrawals
Provide letter of employment and UI19 forms to employees
Importing payroll batches onto Sage
Individual leave recons for employees and processing of leave adjustments
Daily filing and scanning
Adhoc payroll related duties
Preparation of manual payments excluded from the monthly pay run cycle
Backup to Payroll Administrators
Maintain relationships with service providers and 3rd parties

Education and experience:

Minimum matric with mathematics and accounting
Certificate/ diploma in accounting
Certificate in Sage VIP People
Microsoft proficiency
Legislation knowledge of the Labour relations, Basic conditions of employment Act, SARS
PAYE, NMG, Paradigm
