Senior Account Manager - Personal / Homecare Raw Materials

  • An international leading speciality silicone manufacturer requires the above to manage client relationships and oversee the sales of raw materials into the personal and homecare manufacturing industries.

Minimum requirements for the role:


  • A technical competent or chemistry qualification is preferred for this role.
  • Previous experience having worked in a technical role within the personal care industry interacting with R&D teams is preferred.
  • Must have good communication and report writing skills.
  • Must have basic understanding of pricing and exchange rate impacts.
  • Previous sales experience having sold raw materials into the personal care and or homecare and related manufacturing industries is preferred.
  • Managing key accounts as well as building and maintain relationships with existing clients within the personal care and homecare manufacturing industry.
  • Assessing local market conditions and identifying current and prospective sales.
  • Preparing forecasts and ensuring budgets are exceeded.
  • Maintaining acceptable margins as well as growing margins where necessary.
  • Negotiating prices for all clients across various levels.
  • Promoting new and existing products to customers
  • Managing stock forecasts

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
