    Project Manager/Project Engineer

    We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage projects in the construction sector.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Ensure timely and cost-effective project completion while maintaining quality standards.
    • Oversee projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
    • Provide expertise and direction to project team members.
    • Manage engineering, logistics, and commissioning activities.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Facilitate effective communication and resolution of project-related issues.
    • Collaborate with project/contract managers to define project scope and plan accordingly.
    • Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
    • Recruit, train, and manage project staff according to company policies.
    • Monitor project expenditures, manage funds, and prepare financial reports.
    • Ensure technical compliance and facilitate product testing.
    • Contribute to tendering processes and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
    • E nsure adherence to contractual obligations and manage associated risks.

    This role demands strong project management skills and experience in the construction industry.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of a National Diploma/BTech/BSc in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) and/or Construction/Project Management is required.
    • Registration as a Professional Engineer Technician with ECSA and as a Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr.CPM) at SACPCMP is essential.
    • A minimum of 10 years' experience in construction, engineering, or consulting, including 5 years in a managerial capacity, is required.
