Description

Marketing Intern, a 12-month internship exists within our clients Marketing Department based in Cape Town. For this period the incumbent will form part of the Marketing team, as part of this team you will provide support and assist in building recognizable brand awareness.

Duties include the following, but not limited to:

Daily support and admin to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities.
Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial, and nonfinancial information.
Monitor and moderate company's social media channels.
Ensures that online product catalogues are reflected and maintained accurately on site.
Reviews product descriptions, specifications, digital assets, and categorizations
Explore and suggest creative ideas on how to achieve online sales goals.
Suggest creative executions that will appeal to online target audiences.

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification
Proficient in MS Office
Understands brand building.
Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.
Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases would be an advantage.
Understands managing social media platforms.
Basic knowledge of digital marketing
